#1 – Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton audiobook review

July 22, 2009

I downloaded this audiobook from Librivox here.
This book is set in New York City in the early 1900’s and like the rest of Edith Wharton’s books, deals with the shallow culture of high society.
The material and language of Age of Innocence is a little dry, but the book is very well written. To be sure, her books would most likely appeal to readers of romance books.
Brenda Dayne is the reader for this book, and her voice is fantastic.
12 hours, 32 minutes.
