Recommended iTunes setting when importing audiobook CD

July 24, 2009

The last book I imported into iTunes, I used 64 bit AAC – it sounds perfect. While maybe not suitable for music, for speech I can’t tell any difference between it and the original.
The benefit? The 7 hour audiobook I ripped fits into 57 MB. Approximately 8 MB per hour of recording is pretty damn efficient.
