Wanting to get back to audio, but narked by the thought of the stack of CDs i have to download to my laptop to put onto my iPod, i’ve downloaded The Heavenfield a free (yes, free) audiobook from I G Hume.
It’s a complicated tale about a team of researchers who teleport to another world to study a ‘field’, so beautiful they dubbed it ‘The Heavenfield’.
I’m currently on the third episode – and things are starting to go a little pear shaped. ‘Heaven’ has disintegrated on par with a terrorist attack on the scientist’s lab. Who’s attacking them? Who’s the Eastern Eusropean guy?
